This was the view of the sunset in Prague. You can see Prague Castle and other stuff in the background.
That city is incredible. Can’t wait to go back

I’ve also realised I dunno how to link photos to the same image but with bigger resolution. Ahhhh. You can check out the photos (somewhat) bigger on facebook.
Some cool graffiti on the East Side Gallery. They have a whole lotta artists come and paint stuff on the side of the Wall that’s still standing in Berlin. This stretch of the wall was about… a kilometre long? Pretty cool man.
This was on the side of a building in the suburb Kreuzberg. Apparently Berlin is the home of street art and stuff. Most of it’s pretty cool but I thought this was amazing.
The lady from the tour told us who it was - some famous dude - but I’ve forgotten now. Still. Cool.
This was taken at the Stasi Museum in the former East Berlin. Even though the museum itself kinda sucked (they’re refurbishing the proper building I think), I thought this was amazing - a spy camera in a tie. It’s like James Bond stuff.
They had other cool stuff like spy cameras hidden in tree trunks, coffee thermos cans, etc. Pretty cool.
This was some kind of building that they use for something or other in Berlin. I dunno. It looked nice.
So I’ve decided to not go outside for a good few hours and instead look at my computer screen and type stuff. I’m gonna describe where I’ve been and what I’ve been doing in chronological order, otherwise it’s a big mess and shit.
So first stop was Berlin. Flying in to Frankfurt am Main was a little strange, probably made stranger by not having slept in a good 30 hours. But then it wasn’t over yet… I had no idea how to get to Berlin and where I was going to sleep that night. I think that’s what they call “good planning”.
Anyway, I bought a train ticket (a good 100 euros), sat on a train for 5 hours and then I was in Berlin! Did a quick hostel search on the net and decided to stay at Wombat’s Hostel. That was cool.
Berlin is a cool place. I took a alternative city tour checking out all the graffiti and underground culture and stuff of Berlin, which was cool. Met some cool people, and we spent the next few days seeing stuff around the city, going on pub crawls to absinthe bars and German clubs (undecided about them yet) and just seeing the place in general. I think I’ve only barely seen the place… there’s a whole lot left to do when I go back for a year.
Note: my writing sucks. I’m sure it’s not that compelling but I’ll be putting up some pretty photos and stuff for people to look at. Also, the majority of photos will be on facebook… I’ll only be putting up the best ones here.
Hey guyz,
So after much pressuring (actually, none at all) from friends and stuff, I’ve decided to make one of these “blogs” I’ve heard so much about. That way you can just have a look at the stuff I’ve been doing without so much as talking to me! It’s the best of both worlds.
I’m still new to the supposed idiot-proof process of making a blog (especially how easy tumblr makes this stuff), so bear with me. I’m not 100% sure on how to resize images properly for use on websites, for instance. Anyway.
Feel free to tell me how bad my photos are, that I should be getting out more, etc. etc.
Cheers,
Craig
